Daisuke-san has a father, Kosuke-san, who supposedly traveled for twelve years then put of nowhere just came back just like that.

Okay. If I were his wife I won’t accept him with open arms. Instead I’ll strangle him all my strength and throw him out of the house. The excuse of not being with his family is simply not explained at all. The little reasoning they gave does not justify the circumstances.

Although the creators written a plot where he indeed loves his son dearly, it’s still a little too neat and tidy for a reunion between father and son.
