Last Exile

One of the genres finest. The animation is visually stunning, the Seiyuus exceed expectations, and the story is both heart warming and bittersweet. There are quite a number of paradox in this series. It is indeed not your average show with shallow storyline, instead we are treated with deep character insights and subtle nuances. Not to be mistaken as a boring intellectually charged drama but in fact it is highly entertaining and captivating. Simply ranks as one of the best.

Do not be fooled with young leads in this series because they can exceed even the highest of expectations. The best thing about this series is that it tackles not only about fulfilling dreams, ambition, or power but it also revolves around family, friendship, and loyalty. Words aren’t exactly a skill of mine so I’ll just recommend this title. I feel like I will ruin the description if I kept on going. It is hard for me to explain but this is not only about trying to fly in that Grand Stream but it is something else.

Heck, I cried buckloads at the ending because I was getting too emotionally involved with the characters. Yes, beware of the attachment to certain characters for you will lose them. Hahaha. I better not spoil it for anyone. It is best to just watch Last Exile.
