Onegai Twins

Okay, can we get the author’s head examined here? I think the producers of this series is riding of the success of Onegai Teacher. Not to bash this anime but I find semi-incestuous innuendos quite distasteful.

The animation of the Onegai Twins is surprisingly superbly done. The soundtrack feels like your average music, nothing special in there. Some characters from the original make an appearance or two. The first half of the series was mainly comedic scenarios then later on it progressed into melodrama.

One of my gripes is the repetitiveness of the problem. Ever eppie, they always remark about the odd relationship between the three main characters. By the fifth episode, I’m shouting, ” Give it a rest. We already the problem.” Honestly, it was so annoying.

Yes, it’s not one of the best out there but it still has a decent storyline. We also get to have a sweet ending although it creeps me out that twin sister still has some unnecessary attachments towards his brother. Too strange, indeedy.
