Maburaho: Episode 10

Why am I subjecting myself to such subpar plotlines when I can re-watch One Piece episodes? How much more shall I endure till this series ends? Okay, so no one is forcing me to watch this series but I already invested time for half the season. It’s too late to back out now. Is it too much to ask for one decent eppie?

It’s not that I have high expectations with Maburaho. In fact, I knew by the first episode alone that this would not stand out as one of the best this season. Major understatement. Amazingly enough I till have yet to attach myself to the characters. So far Samurai-girl is the only one I can really stand. See, I even forgot her name.

Lest I forget, I notice that somehow there was some kind of inconsistency in the plot. Kazuki-san and the bevy of ladies claimed that they didn’t find the jewel yet Kazuki-san clearly touched it. Is this little bit of mystery going to be a significant thing for future episodes? Maybe a pay-off later on.
