One Piece: Episode 43-44: Merman Pirate Arlong IV

After the long arduous battle, Arlong Park has fallen. Luffy’s fight with Arlong ended up quite nicely with a bow on top, thank you very much.

When asked by the villagers why Luffy and the gang fight for them, they were told that it is because they made Nami cry. Now, that is one hell of a response. If another person utters that phrase in another situation, that may not work but this one is fine by me.

Now that the terror of the East Blue Sea is gone, the villagers rejoice. Along with the neighboring towns, they party day and night. As usual, Luffy is seen snacking like there is not tomorrow. Sanji, the player that he is, makes his advances to the pretty local ladies. Ussop who has delusions of grandeur tells tales of his bravery and sings songs till he drops. Zoro has to be patched up by the local doctor and relaxes while the town celebrates. Nami pretty much decided to officially joing the Straw Hat pirates in their quest for One Piece.

I am a sucker for happy endings, well, for this arc anyway. Their next adventure awaits.
