Peace Maker Kurogane: Episode 16

A surprising twist looms over the Shinsengumi’s Okita-san. An impostor sheds blood in his name to create confusion and chaos. This treacherous act is manipulated by a Big Bad who dwells in darkness. This silent enemy seems to be the real villain in the series unlike Suzi’s master who is guided with his own principles. There is no concrete evidence to suggest the real story behind ongoing arc. Even with major developments, I sure need more information to satisfy my curiosity.

Off to a lighter note. Aren’t we all glad to see Tetsu-kun cheerful again? On top of that, he has improved his skills as a swordsman. His brother, Tatsu-san, bump into the weird pistol-guy once again. This time they had their share of adventures.

I’m beginning to understand the darkness behind this show despite its constant comedic scenarios. I wonder when will they really show a major sword fight complete with blood and gore. Sure there was bloodshed in this eppie, but so far the purpose was to push the story onwards. I want a real battle soon.
