Sailormoon Live Action: Episode 21

Thank goodness for a Mako-centric episode. Out of all five of the senshis sans Usagi-chan, she’s my favorite among them. Rei and Minako dwell on too much angst and Ami just bothers me quite a bit especially that creepy smile of hers. It doesn’t hurt that I find Mako-chan the prettiest of them all. Also, she almost never acts annoying.
Although almost the entire episode is filled with Mako-chan goodness, the major plot advancement belongs to Ami. After her encounter with Kunzeite, becomes a living evil puppet. Isn’t it strange to think that I like her dark!senshi uniform better than her regular one. The eye make-up is a little bit too much but since she’s supposed to be evil then a heavy eyeliner is probably suitable.
Kunzeite still looks yummy (gag-reflex from the readers) even with his strange outfit. Not that it matters since he never looks wimpy unlike some individuals who shall remain nameless.
Lest I forget, don’t you love Mako-chan’s fist connecting to Mamuro’s face? Okay, his purpose in hanging out with Usagi-chan wasn’t done intentionally to hurt her, however, Mako-chan sees his actions from a different perspective. Either way I got some satisfaction from that upper-cut since he seriously needs some waking up to do.
