Angel: 5.15 A Hole in the World

This is a rare one for me to write a review on an Angel episode before posting an entry here in my blog. Anyway, I was too speechless last night after watching the A Hole in the World. Mind you, I had very high expectations since I knew it was Joss Whedon who written and directed the said eppie. However, I was blown away last night and stared a few good minutes at my TV screen even after the credits rolled in. Damn. That was an incredible experience.

Fred and Wesley are doomed lovers from the start. When they finally found each other last week, I knew something terrible is going to happen. But no, JW couldn’t wait for a couple more episodes of happiness before dropping a huge tearfest to his audience. Of course, his Love is Pain mantra is in the works. Evil Joss. I can see him scheming ways to break the hearts of his viewers (In a good way, though. Illogical but fans know what I mean). Hah.

I was fairly excited (understatement, much) after the episode that I finished both the screencaps and the review this fast. I literally running on adrenaline. Quite honestly, I was still in cloud nine while writing a too biased review of A Hole in the World. Give me time to collate my thoughts and I’ll eventually finish a review of a more level-headed line of thinking, most probably a part two.
