Gokusen: Episode 02

As I suspected, this is a fun series to watch. I wonder how many episodes will there be. Episode 2 reveals some back story for Shin-chan. Although he is the appointed ‘boss’ of Yankumi’s class, he is brainy as well as street smart. He organizes the class to participate in a boycott. I know, I know. It sounds like GTO but this one is a short boycott which was resolved rather easily. Anyway, it’s rather funny to see how Yankumi reacts when she spots a policeman. How could Shin-chan and the others not guess that she has a unique background.

Also, we now know that the vice-principal is actually some kind of traitor for the school. I guess that will come in handy later on at the end of the series.

Oh, I could not believe it. Kuma and his buddy actually dig Shin-chan. Okay, it was a joke but since they look too much like thugs, it was too disturbing. I don’t mind yaoi references when they are bishounen.
