Naruto: Episode 76

I am oddly disappointed with this week’s episode. I was expecting a little bit more oomph and what-not but it ends up with annoying flashbacks. Yes, the treacherous act of Yashamaru was essential to Gaara’s monstrous attitude and background. That part of history explains the whole weird Gaara mentality but I’d rather see some action right about now.

This may be a disappointing eppie but the small glimpse of Gai and Kakashi slightly made up for it. How can you not love Gai’s misguided sense of rivalry with Kakashi? How about a filler episode devoted to those two? Now, that would be a filler episode that I would really enjoy.
