Twin Spica: Episode 07

What is it about this anime that gets me teary-eyed almost every episode? Should I stock up for some Kleenex? Have I mentioned before how much I like the opening song of Twin Spica. The background music used for this program isn’t bad either, although I’m not sure about the ending song.

Asumi must now leave her home and live in a small dormitory near her new school. As expected, Kei-chan, Ukita-san, Shuu, Fuuchuya, and Asumi passed the entrance exam. Surprisingly, Shuu has the highest score of all the examinees except he is not your typical intellectual-type guy. His speech wasn’t exactly what the teachers wanted to hear but the students had the opposite reaction. I can see him as the popular boy in school, or maybe not.

I am intrigued with the relationship between Asumi’s father and the new teacher. The teacher seema to know her father back when Asumi’s dad was working as a rocket engineer. I know there is something in there. I wonder if there is a connection between the accident and Asumi’s dad being a rocket engineer.
