HxH GI Final: Episode 05

Hmmm…finally, the scene I’ve been waiting for is in color and animated too. I do love the storylines of this series but Hisoka certainly makes it even better. He remains one of my favorite semi-villains. I get the feeling that Get Backer’s Akabane is patterned from him. Okay, that’s a baseless speculation. Their attitude seem so similar that I can’t help but compare them. But I digress from the topic at hand.

When the group of fifteen including Gon, Killua, and Biske entered the one-on-one sports type of event, the trio decided to change their plans and to lose in purpose in order to collect information. The information obtained will be used for another round when they gather a stronger set of players. Goremu, one of the fifteen who competed, joined Gon and company in search of tougher teammates. Gon insisted on checking Kuroro’s real identity and see if he could ask him to join the tournament. As it turns out, Hisoka is using Kuroro’s name for Ryodan-centric purposes.

I am drooling as I type but a bathing Hisoka is a sight for sore eyes and Biske will most likely agree with me. Hisoka’s fascination with Gon and Killua is more than creepy. He can be arrested in most countries. Him, staring intently at the inseparable duo’s behind is hilarious but still very disturbing when you think about it. Anyhow, he accepted the proposal to join the group which makes them five. Add Tsezugera and his men makes a total of nine.

Next episode will be the real match. I can’t wait.
