Konjiki no Gash Bell: Episode 28

When I read the title for this episode, I almost groan out loud. A Megumi-Tio adventure did not seem to equate as a funny episode. As usual, I was wrong and there were plenty of laughs in the entire half hour.

Tio, Megumi, Kiyo, and Gash are supposed to meet at an amusement park for a sort of date at eleven o’clock in the morning. However, both parties woke up early and had time to spare in their hands. Kiyo and Gash had their own little fun before the meeting but it was Tio and Megu who had quite an exciting day involving a princess, switching clothes, kidnapping, and an assassin. Of course, Megu and Tio manage to have a happy ending and off they go to meet up with Gash and Kiyo.

I had no idea that Tio had a crush on Kiyo that she specifically requested a ride with him in one of the rides at the park. Very cute. Anyway, I’m not exactly clear on the reason why Mizuno was upset when she learned of Kiyo’s date with Megu. It was either she was suspecting Kiyo and Gash were really meeting the J-pop idol or she’s quite jealous to hear Kiyo going on a date with a very cute girl. I’m voting for the latter since she did almost dismembered her Megu-figurine.
