Maburaho: Episode 21

Kuriko-san may be the most crass amongst the lead females in Maburaho but in this episode she added more depth in her character.

Kuriko-san has the tendency to hide behind her established image and pride which creates a wall around her. Although she deeply cares for Kazuki, she tries to downplay her feelings so often. Upon learning that she might not be capable of giving back the ashes to Kazuki, her confidence in herself quickly unraveled.

Kazuki may be one of the blandest characters in this series but he definitely has his good sides. He even managed to make Kuriko-san open up for a brief moment.

This episode definitely piqued my interest again. The final stretch is almost done and I am looking forward to see the end of this series.
