Sailormoon Live Action: Episode 27

Sorry for the spoilery images I posted. I could not help myself.

The second half of the series introduces a mischievous blue-haired little girl, who is none other than Luna herself. I am still ambivalent on my position towards her. But I can’t help but think that I might find her annoying in the long run. Let’s hope she’ll quit trying so hard to be cute. Of course, no one is asking her to give an Oscar-caliber performance. God knows, no one in the series tried to be Oscar-worthy.

While Luna distracts and irritates Kunzeite, Dark!Ami is going through a rough time reconciling with her old memories. Remembering bits and pieces of her old self added only more mystery to her now confused mind. After Kunzeite defeated Luna, he tried to erase the real Ami. For a while, he it did work since Dark!Mercury was able to destroy Sailormoon’s weapon and injure her opponent. Seeing Sailormoon’s unconscious body laying on the floor, the creepy smile appeared on Ami’s face. Yet after a while, her face crumbled and all her old memories came flooding in. She then realized what has happened and cradled Usagi’s limp body.

Poor kid. After being ignored by her friends, she was kidnapped, brainwashed, and turned into evil. And as soon as her memories returned to her, she finds her friend’s body slump over the floor. It’s too soap-ish, and I’m liking it. Hah. Now that Ami is reverting back to the her old self, I know I’ll miss her fashion sense as Dark!Mercury. Of course,I meant the regular clothes not the senshi outfits.

Oh, and I need a glimpse of turtle dude. Where is he anyway?
