Chrno Crusade: Episode 22

Due to the blandness of earlier episodes, I’ve been bracing myself for a complete letdown in these last episodes. For this particular episode, it hasn’t.

When the teaser for this ep was released, I was certain that someone will definitely die. My heart was set for Fiore to say her goodbyes. Although, I was correct in this assumption, Satella’s passing brought a big shock. Murder-suicide? I’m depressed. No one survived their household. Darn it, even the butler became a casualty. At least, Fiore remembered her past, moments before her eyes dimmed. Maybe, the sisters will be in a happy place.

Meanwhile, Rosette is under Aion’s complete control. Through careful planning, Aion was able to manipulate the masses to distrust the Magdala Order. Pretty clever, eh? One just want to smash the head of this long haired bishounen and feed his brains to the dogs. Sorry, that’s repressed anger coming out.

Too bad, the next episode will be aired on June 2. I can’t wait.
