Fullmetal Alchemist: Episode 30

Stop right now if you don’t want to be spoiled.
FMA certainly knows how to deliver its subplots and surprises. Izumi’s illness is explained a bit further. After losing her unborn baby to save her life, she secretly performed human transmutation resulting to more disastrous results. She was not only unable to revive her baby but a portion of her internal organs including her womb were also gone missing. She probably can endure her physical limitations because of her incredible strength. Is it possible that this mysterious kid could be her revived child after acquiring complete parts?
Speaking of the kid, he stopped running away from Ed and Al when the brothers were able to clear their head and talk to him sensibly. The brothers still questioned the lad but now in a calm manner. However, before they were able to go into a more thorough discussion, he was taken away by the Major Armstrong and his new superior to the South Headquarters.
Even when Armstrong met up with the brothers, Armstrong still hasn’t told them about Maes Hughes. I can see Ed blaming himself for this incident since he was the one who initiated the investigation.
Upon learning about the situation, Izumi immediately went towards the headquarters with the help of her husband. She then forcefully make her way through the building and find the child. After grabbing the frightened kid, she met Ed who had told her that she needs to let go of the boy and go. Of course, she ignores the warning. With Major Armstrong and his superior now in her trail, another strange pair appears in front of her claiming that they need the kid. If that’s not enough, the Furher (who could probably be envy posing as Fuhrer) wants to join in the fun. How can you not love the action in this series?
The strange pair I mentioned was in fact the Crimson Alchemist and a chimera (most likely made created by Tucker) who were sent by Greed. As soon as they found about the kid being a homunculus who can perform alchemy, he realized how valuable an ally he can be. Same probably goes to the other group of homunculi, unless they know more about this kid.
Meanwhile, Scar and the other Ishbal refugees are staying on a land fill for the meantime. Unfortunately, one of the residents called the Central offices to inform them about the location of the Ishbal people.
Information is revealed left and right but questions are still piling up. Too lazy to type anymore. I’ll just post some more of my speculations later on.
