Fullmetal Alchemist: Episode 32

I can’t imagine how the FMA producers manage to continuously surprise their audiences. I’m impressed with the effortless mood shifts throughout the entire episode. There’s the emotional beginning, then some humor inserted in between, and finally a surprise visit from unexpected guests.
Even as the answers are slowly answered, question after question keeps on accumulating. How come Envy’s group insists on provoking a war between the Ishbal people and the Military? What will they gain in all of this? If the seven sins are assembled, who in the world is Pride? Is he someone we know? Why do I get the feeling it may be the Fuhrer himself? I admit, it’s a groundless theory. Where is the Elric’s father? What is his role in all this chaos? How about Scar’s brother? And why do I keep asking questions in my FMA entries?
One thing bothers me ever since the birth of the homunculus was explained was whatever happened to the creature the Elric brothers saw after their attempt at human transmutation. Wouldn’t this mean they also created a homunculus themselves? Could this be the last sin Pride, Envy and the others are referring to? Or is that person Sloth? Long before all this drama, one of the homunculi remarked that Sloth is the youngest of them all. But of course, she seems to have participated in the Ishbal massacre so her being the Elric’s sin does not go well with the time table.
Someone stated that Lust underwent some changes. And with her face all too similar to Scar’s brother’s lover, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was indeed created by Scar’s brother. The sin of lust can very well relate to him. With Izumi, since the lost of her child was the cause for her to open the forbidden gate, the sin of wrath is quite obvious. I wonder how Ed, Al, and their loss of a mother relates to one of the sins.
Speculations are all I can do.
