Kyou Kara Mao: Episode 05

One word to describe Mao’s magic for the episode. Gross. The skeleton made out of food scraps and garbage isn’t a exactly a pleasant sight. Thank goodness it’s not smell-o-vision.

An increase of innuendoes between Yuuri and Wolfram is found in this particular episode. Wolfram misinterprets the conversation between Yuuri and Conrad. Wolfram accuses Yuuri of betraying him for dancing with a woman. He also called Yuuri good-looking a couple of times. He also got upset when he was informed that Yuuri’s first meeting with Yozak was in a bath. I’m seeing a pattern here. Indeed, Wolfram is smitten with his majesty.

Yozak-in-drag doesn’t score real well on looks department. He’s much better off with regular clothing.

The real motivation of Conrad to protect Yuuri is a mystery. Aside from the fact that Yuuri is the Mao of the kingdom and Conrad seems to be a kind person, it seems that there is something else underneath all of this. We’ll find out sooner or later. For now, I’ll just enjoy the funnies.
