Midori no Hibi: Episode 07

It must be pretty obvious by now that I’m not exactly rooting for Midori to win Seiji’s heart. So I say, “Go Takako!”.

Poor Takako. All her careful planning for her date with Seiji went downhill. First, Seiji found her choice of clothing to be too excessive. While walking towards the movie theater, he failed to notice her, erm, accident on the street. At the movies, Takako’s perfectly scripted reactions to the horror film went to waste because of poor timing. Then, her attempt to be seductive by wearing skimpy swimwear did not garner too much response from Seiji. And lastly, her little peek-a-boo at the bathtub did not go as planned as well. *sigh*

Unfortunately for Takako, Seiji only sees her as a friend. And, he’s too insensitive with this sort of thing. Remember, until Midori literally was attached to him, his relationship quotient with the opposite sex was non-existent.

From what I’ve been reading, Midori is pretty well liked by audiences. Yes, I know she’s nice and all but I find her lacking some oomph. Like I mentioned before, I’m quite partial to feisty anime female characters.

All I can say, I want more Takako episodes.
