Sailormoon Live Action: Episode 31

Yay, a Mako-centric episode with an added bonus of a date with Motoki. I’m satisfied. One downside. Senshi!Luna is included in the episode. At least, we only saw her for only a couple of scenes.

Sailor Jupiter’s powers finally awaken. But only after a date with Motoki and an encounter with a youma. Once she realized that she it was okay for her to be alone — not in a literal sense but in more philosophical manner — her inner strength shines through. Too bad, she had to reject Motoki’s proposal. Admittedly, turtle-dude is on the goofy side but he cracks me up every time. Does this mean he’ll no longer wear the muffle made by Mako?

Even though Mako’s reawakening calls for a celebration, there’s somewhat a cryptic message behind her realization that her fate was affected by her past life’s actions.

The teaser for the next episode seems to mean that Usagi and Mamuro will cross paths again. Hmmm…usually I’ll be excited with this information but somehow I’m slowly losing interest with the series. I’ll probably feel different once I see the succeeding episodes.
