Sailormoon Live Action: Episode 32

Half of me enjoyed the episode and the other half had me smirking. Okay, the smirk was generally directed to Endymion’s fight scenes by the port. If he was wearing his regular Tuxedo Mask costume, I wouldn’t even blink an eye because I am so used to it. But no, he had to wear that white attire while fighting.
Enough nitpicking. Aside from the awkward sword sequences, the storyline was pushed further ahead. Zoicite’s insistence for Mamuro to remember his past finally paid off. When Nephrite decided to learn more about his old life, a chain of events lead for him, Zoicite, Jadeite, Kunzite, and Mamuro to confront each another in the same room. The meeting among the five became a trigger for Mamuro to remember a small portion of his past. If Zoicite wanted his master to stay away from the princess, he’ll be in for a disappointment. Without any further ado, Mamuro immediately flew to Japan. He left London without even bothering to tell anyone his plans nor to leave a note about his whereabouts which caused some misunderstanding back in Japan.
Mamuro’s sudden disappearance in England prompted people to believe that he was in jeopardy. Motoki was informed about the situation via a phone. Usagi, Rei, and Ami who were passing by overheard the news. Predictably, the worried Usagi was set on going to London and help to find him. Mio whose real identity is still a mystery (could she be one of Queen Beryl’s puppets?) took advantage of Usagi’s vulnerability which almost led her to asphyxiation. Thankfully, her prince in white and shining armor *uncontrollable laughter* dashed in and saved the day.
After all the hoopla, the two had a quiet talk about their fates which ended in an embrace. Awww . . . how sweet. I couldn’t help but giggle like a school girl. Ahh, memories of high school.
With the lead characters in each others’ arms, I wonder what direction the producers will be taking. So far, Mio’s character seems to be good addition as a villain. Usagi’s naivete will be a key element to her attacks. And please, keep Luna in animal form.
