Gokusen: Episode 11

It’s been a while since I last saw the previous episode of Gokusen. I thought the subbers dropped this series. I guess I was wrong.

Shin was forced to quit his current high school and transfer to another more prestigious one. This turn of events caused a major uproar among the students and Yankumi. Shin’s friends hatched up plan to save him which predictably failed. So it’s up to Yankumi to let him escape.

As if the situation is not bad enough, we learn that Shin’s father is a high ranking police officer. He was able to track down Shin’s whereabouts and threaten to expose Yankumi’s identity. Even with the impulsive actions of Yankumi, her grandfather voiced his support to this man. Shin also pleaded his case. I think his heartfelt pleas reached his authoritarian father. Or maybe not.
