Kyou Kara Mao: Episode 08

Another fun episode for our adorable Yuuri and Wolfram. At the risk of sounding too fangirl-y, I have to say that they are too huggable for words.

After a brief stay in his world (It doesn’t really matter how long he’s gone, right? Time seems to move differently in both worlds), Yuuri is summoned back to the demon dimension by the palace’s oldest maiden, the 800 year-old Ulrike. Rest assured, her young appearance will probably be the envy of anyone looking for the fountain of youth.

She tries to flirt with the current Mao, however, Wolfram was there to stop such attempts. He is totally smitten with Yuuri and whomever says otherwise is in denial. He keeps on pointing out that he IS his fiance to the extent that he insist on sleeping with him in the same room. BTW, Wolfram’s nightdress is way too girl-y. How cute.

Honestly, it’s not the plot that keeps me from coming back for more. I wouldn’t say it’s the bishounen either (I eventually got bored with Saiyuki). The quirky set of characters just intrigues me. And dear ‘ole Gwendal. Instead of being the untouchable one, he keeps on surprising me.
