Midori no Hibi: Episode 11

Whoa. Surprisingly enough, I enjoyed most of the episode. Amazingly still, I found a twinge of sympathy for Midori’s plight. However, it was the presence of both Kouta and Ayase that brightened up my day. With the exception of Shiori, I find the supporting characters of Midori no Hibi strong points to the otherwise inconsistent series. Oh, and let’s not exclude the cat. Can I adopt this adorable stray?

Seeing a half-naked Kouta tied up in ropes was quite disconcerting. Um, not exactly a pleasant sight. I hope, once he wakes up, he’ll realize that the puppet-like Midori is in fact Midori herself. The anime should’ve featured him more often. I would like to him ending up with Midori (despite my impressions on her). They look like they belong together. Such a adorable kid. Can I adopt him too?

Ayase should have her own series where she’ll be able to snag the man of her dreams. And where she doesn’t have to compete with somedy else’s right hand.

My major concern for Midori’s character is that there was never a transition period from an extremely shy and timid individual to a loud and cheerful person. To me, I see the right-hand Midori and Big-Midori as two separate entities. Do I make sense?
