One Piece: Episode 101

Yet another filler episode for this arc. No worries, though, for it is all good in OP-land. A filler where the Straw Hat crew are mostly part of (well, this episode mostly focused on Ace), usually brings smiles to its viewers. Okay, I admit my bias towards Ace. Admit it, he IS the man.

While resting during their journey, the travelers met an interesting family which set the tone for entire episode. While there was a mild WTF-moment where the kids were seen crying, I am very much entertained for today. I was dreading a frightening experience similar to episode ninety-nine. Thankfully, I was wrong.

The downside of this episode was Ace’s departure from the gang. But on the upside, since he is gone, the series will probably focus on much important things instead of the semi-filler eppies. Seriously, the plot has to move forward. It has been nine episodes since the crew sailed to this country and we’re still at the starting point of this arc. Oh well, any amount of complaining is utterly useless since OP currently has one hundred ninety-five episodes and still counting. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward seeing Kohza’s father and Vivi’s reunion in Yuba.

BTW. K-F is on fire these days, churning out quick releases for the other OP enthusiasts. May the spirits bless their souls. *lol*
