Sailormoon Live Action: Episode 36

A quick view of the screencaps and you’ll have an idea that half of the episode focused on cutesy moments between Usagi and Mamuro. A part of my inner school girl cheered and sighed but another part wanted to cringe and curse obscenities. I probably have mentioned before my love/hate relationship with this particular show. Either way, I’m just glad that my dwindling interest is reviving again. Once the series introduced both senshi!Luna and Mio, watching PGSM somewhat became a force of habit. Hopefully, this episode would be a turning point for this weak season.

Oh, and how fun was it to see Sailormoon effortlessly deflecting all of Queen Beryl’s attacks. Scratch that. It was the awakened Princess Serenity who ruled the fight. But this personality change freaked Mamuro and asked Usagi to snapped out of it. If she was expecting a happy ending for this episode, she’s sadly mistaken for Mamuro joined Beryl in order to protect his subordinates.

I’m looking forward to the next episode. My interest is high enough to download the raw for episode thirty seven. I haven’t done this for a while so this is a pleasant surprise.
