Shura no Toki: Episode 09

I am an utter fool. A couple of weeks ago, I declared how much Syuratoki has improved and how much I was looking forward watching the future episodes. Alas, due to an overwhelming amount of series I’ve been following this season plus my frequent old series marathon, I ignored this little show. Foolish choice.

Okay, so the episode is still shaky on some parts. Yet still, compared to the travesty I endured in the previous storyline, this arc has the potential to be addicting. Or so I hope.

Takato is a more intriguing person than the bland Yakumo. Tsubura, with her shinobi skills and amusing demeanor, is a better female character than that annoying Kaoru wanna-be. Sasuke’s background seems richer than the monk. And as I said in a previous entry, Jubeii seems to be deliciously menacing as Takato’s opponent.
