Shura no Toki: Episode 10

Another good episode from Syuratoki? I’m getting freaked out. Maybe this is my reward for patiently staying with this series. Now that I’ve been praising the improvements of the recent episodes, I’ll probably find myself disappointed and grumbling complaints in the next post.
Takato’s identity is quite a mystery. He pulled a fast one on Jubeii for thinking he IS a Mutsu. Well, he did not reveal his surname so it’s more than likely that he is. Since he fought the Yagyuus using a sheath, he was clearly not using the Mutsu technique which requires a bare-handed defense and attack. Either way, his fight with Jubeii was halted when Sasuke learned that his mistress was not taken in by Yagyuu.
In order to find Tsubura, Takato and Sasuke pooled in their cluage and realized the most plausible explanation. So they head for Izo-no-kami’s holiday villa and effortlessly defeated the shinobi guards.
Inside the villa, Tsubura who was thought to be a Mutsu, was asked to participate in the Shogun tournament to bring down Yagyuu. She agreed on the condition that if she wins, she would be paid a small amount of fortune for her efforts. Once the deal has been decided, she, Sasuke, and Takato were to live in this abode before the tournament.
Things are getting much more entertaining by the minute. I’m even delighted to see a part of the Sanada clan with the shinobi Sasuke mixed in the plotline. I suppose using historical figures are a tad frequent in these genre. Since I’m a huge fan of samurai, ninja, and martial arts type of series, I’ll still offer my patronage.
