Aishiteru ze, Baby: Episode 14

I don’t know about other people’s interpretation but once Kippei told Kokoro that he like her best amongst all the girls, I honestly wanted to b*tch-slap the guy. Come on, you don’t tell a girl that there are other girls. It’s almost like saying she’s his favorite or something. I know I’m over-reacting. I have issues.

I felt like strangling the kid for one moment but then forgave him once his brain functioned again. He realized that he can’t play with other girls anymore. Natsumi was crushed by this piece of information but handled the situation very well by carefully not revealing her feelings to Kippei.

While Kippei is trying to patch up his love life, Yuzu is making an adorable friend on her own. I almost overdosed from the chock full of sweetness.

The pairing of Kokoro and Kippei is advancing nicely. The introduction of a new character and the hint of serious trouble adds another dimension. If it continues to move the storyline with a balance between the subplots (read: less Yuzu and Kippei, more Kokoro), I’d be delighted.
