Aishiteru ze, Baby: Episode 15

My initial enthusiasm for AishiBaby is slowly diminishing. Although I would like to blame this matter due to repetitiveness, the nature of the current mini-arc appears to contradict my previous reasoning. It seems that I’ve been wanting more focus on the Kippei-Kokoro aspect of the storyline. I’m shallow, sue me. As much I’ve grown fond of Yuzu, her excessive crying has become rather irksome.

The issues laid out at present is honestly surprising. I am extremely pleased at the attempt at commentary about child abuse. However, being relegated or at least aimed at a younger crowd, the situation is handled with care. The mother in question is not characterized at the stereotypical evil parent but she somehow acknowledges her problem. Or I could be wrong at my assumption once we see the next episode.

Shouta would’ve been a great addition to the cast but basing on the preview, he may relocate to another place. Too bad. Yuzu could use another person to get close to other than Kippei.
