Kyou Kara Mao: Episode 11

The conclusion of this arc ends with quite an entertaining episode. Everyone showed off their fighting skill.

The cross-dressing Yozak (he looks terrible as a woman) uses a cleverly concealed spear to defeat his opponents. Konrad aggressively attacked Raven by jumping down a steep slope with his sword ready to battle. Wolfram used his control over fire to escape from Raven and his troops. Gwendal effortlessly defeated a group of horsemen without breaking a sweat. Along with the Mao’s monotonous monologue included an impressive display of power enough to blow off majority of Stofel’s subordinates. And finally, sweet Gunther whom I never suspected to be a warrior of such caliber showed mastery of the sword. Indeed, this is MaruMa’s version of the usual fighting anime’s epic battles.

Needless to say, Yuuri was saved, the war was halted, and mystery of the stolen stone was solved. As it turns out, the carefree Celi (or is it Cheri?) took the important jewel without prior consent.

This episode had all the fun elements which I find interesting in this series. From the comedic Yuuri moments to the worried Wolfram, I’d say it is definitely a must-see for the MaruMa enthusiasts.
