Shura no Toki: Episode 13

Interesting. I realized that Syuratoki has now become one of my top three favorite series this month. Of course, I’m ignoring the fact that it churned out a boring first arc. But then again, the second chapter of the series not only brought out Sanada clan’s Sasuke and the legendary Juubei but also introduced Takato and Tsubura. Since the series are made up of short Mutsu stories, I am worried about how the third arc will hold up against current one.

The latest installment of the series finishes with Tsubura taking her planned assassination attempt to action. Once she realized the futility of her fight against Juubei, she initiates her attack. However, due to some injuries incurred during her match, she was unable to fulfill her wish. She was about to be annihilated when Sasuke sacrificed himself to protect his charge. Although Takato is against this course of action, he instinctively ran toward the chaos to help out Tsubura.

The highly anticipated fight between Juubei and Takato may happen in the next episode entitled, The Beast. And whomever the beast refers to is anybody’s guess. It could be either Juubei or Takato. Either way, the title holds true for both warriors.

I can’t wait any longer for the subbed version, so I’ll take a peek on the raws. Need to download episode fourteen as soon as possible.
