Who likes Steve?

I really like Steve Buscemi. Not the fangirl-y kind of fascination because let’s face it, he is not much of a looker. However, he exudes some odd type of charisma. Or maybe I’m going insane.

Recently, I was lurking the forums over IMDb and was amazed at the number of young women interested in him. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised since I’m oddly fascinated with him. But then again, my lack of judgment impedes the credibility.

Let’s see. He made Armageddon funny (and watchable) as an oil driller on the verge of insanity. In Ghost World, he was a pathetic middle-aged man who falls for a teen. He played Crazy Eyes in Adam Sandler’s Mr. Deeds (Let’s all pretend that I didn’t admit that I watched that movie). A convicted serial killer inCon-Air (He was supposed to be insane there but I was happy when he was able to escape). He’s my favorite character in Reservoir Dogs (I will line up opening night for a Mr. Pink film). There’s The Grey Zone, Fargo, Desperado, etcetera. He’s in big budget movies but I think he accepts a lot of indie films, that he is given the nick, Indie King.

Most of the people I talk to about Buscemi look at me funny and my boyfriend thinks I need psychiatric help. My family, well, they already know I’m weird so it doesn’t matter.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. They don’t know what they’re missing. ^^
