An anniversary, a birthday, and random bits
I was too busy with the beginning of classes and all the chaotic hoopla that comes with it that I forgot to post something about my blog’s first year anniversary on the twentieth of this month. This site was my first attempt at HTML and coding (which hasn’t improved that much). Technically, it’s the gibberish section’s anniv (I officially started the anime section around December ‘03) but either way “Yay!” for me. To actually continue on my ramblings, then extended it into an anime blog for this long is a miracle. I never been good with keeping a journal when I was younger so I surprised myself.
YSP isn’t the only one who’s getting older this month. Another year will added to my age by the end of this coming week. Thankfully, no classes for me that day and I secured time off from work. Contrary to popular belief, I DO have a life outside anime. And no, the internet is not my abode, although it seems like it. *laughs*

Call me crazy, but I can’t stand the twenty-four hour coverage of the Olympics. Okay, Phelps is easy on the eye (it seems like hundreds of hours of footage is about him) but personally, I like Thorpe better (nope, I’m not talking about the abilities here). Sorry, I am digressing. My point is that I’d rather come home to Conan’s monologues and silly sketches than watching some sporting event.
Tsk, tsk, tsk. I was informed by a co-worker that Clay Aiken, the American Idol dude, was named the entertainment world’s sexiest singer in one of those big magazines. *snort* Damn, if only Conan was not pre-empted, I know he would’ve had a field day with this juicy bit of news. Argh, I’m bitter.
