Naruto: Episode 93

For some reason, I have this feeling that Kabuto has his own agenda other than being a loyal follower of Orochimaru. Even when he obeys his orders or when he protects him, I sense something amiss. During the Chuunin Exam when Oro asked about Naruto’s data, he lied through his teeth, right? He told him that the kid had no potential whatsoever even when he was impressed with the Naruto’s tenacity at beating their opponents. The taunts aimed at Naruto are merely tactics to anger the enemy. I don’t believe one second that he truly believes what he stated. Ummm…my speculations are usually way off-base so think of it as a mild incoherent babbling.
The big fight begins. Too bad, no one is at full strength. Oro cannot perform any seals. Jiraiya still feels the after-effects of Tsunade’s drugs. Tsunade’s phobia is a major hindrance in battle. Kabuto hasn’t fully recovered from Tsunade’s attack. In a way, this is better in the sense that the handicap helps Naruto become a major player in this face off.
I hope the company handling the animation for the fight sequences are the same ones who staffed in episode ninety. The confrontation scene with Tsunade where Naruto tries to use Rasengan was awesome.
