Naruto: Episode 97

My head is still reeling over a big plot twist from the latest installment of Furuba and this silly onsen filler episode succeeded in lightening up my mood.

Tsunade and Shizune coaxed Jiraiya and Naruto to drop by a nearby onsen. Jiraiya, who was at first adamant in going back to Konoha as quickly as they could, was deemed powerless when Tsunade planted seeds of temptations. Poor Jiraiya. The young women he was waiting for arrived too late.

Aside from Jiraiya’s mishap, Tsunade’s gambling problem appears again, Naruto hatches a plan to take money from Tsunade, and Shizune borrows Tsunade’s form. Nothing serious about it. It’s okay but it’s nothing call home about.

Only one thing, though. I was half expecting to see Jiraiya showing off his l33t skillz at peeking through holes. *lol*
