Sailormoon Live Action: Episode 41

Amongst all the characters in this series, I find Motoki the most fascinating one. Sure, I occasionally mock his turtle obsession and dork-y persona but it’s all out of pure love for his character. Well, mostly out of love.

At first, Motoki paired up with Mako seemed too odd but now the idea has grown on me. Watching Motoki interacting with the girl he’s smitten with is like watching a pet all grown up. Really bad analogy, but you get the drift (hopefully). Unfortunately, Mako is not quite ready to open herself up to him (yet) leaving him presumably lonely, surprised, and confused. Definitely an Awww moment seeing him alone in the dark.

Aside from Motoki, Naru also learned a not-so-well-kept secret. She ended up injured when the Princess regained control of Usagi’s body. Hime-sama has some serious rage issues. Needs counseling, perhaps?
