Kenran: Episode 17

After the slightly serious fare, we get a light-hearted episode revolving around Ester.

Never for a second would the audience be mistaken that a real rebellion was indeed taking place in Aurora. But still, it was fun to watch Ester battle wits and skill against Yamagami. And for the record, Ester outclassed everyone of those whom she thought were rebels. For the curious, all the hoopla was done in an effort to throw her a surprise birthday party. Hilarious stuff.

I’ll take what I can get from this title. Interestingly enough, there’s something about this series that makes me want to know the succeeding events even when I have to plow through weak episodes.
