Sailormoon Live Action: Episode 43

Ahhh…a Romeo and Juliet scenario will never grow old. Even when the characters are portrayed by adorable but barely competent lead actors. In fairness, as the series progressed, the actor playing Usagi has been constantly improving in both her acting skills and her fighting stances. I wish the same can be said with our resident prince, Mamuro. For some reason, while he can somewhat act, he wields the sword oh-so-awkwardly. Not that it significantly matters, since it was a fairly enjoyable episode to watch.

As you can see from one of the screencaps, we’ve got some heavy romantic sequences. I like teen angst as long as they don’t go Dawson on me.
