Haruka naru Toki no Naka de ~Hachiyoushou~ 01

A series that would cater hordes of bishounen-types to legions of fangirls this fall? *gasp* About eight males on the good side and few more from the big bads would most likely be sufficient enough number to cover the basic bishie-varieties usually seen in this genre. And there’s a real plot, too. Sort of. The series reeks of overused plotlines. Teleporting to another dimension, a capital that need protection, hidden powers of a miko, etc. You get the idea. Basically, Akane, our heroine, and two of her bishie friends find themselves forcefully transported (through a well, no less) into a different world. Think a slightly altered Fushigi Yuugi. Oh, the horror. ^_^

While the pilot is not mind-boggling nor impressive enough, it had moments of excellent animation on key scenes. The music, err, I didn’t really pay attention that much. So far, the direction of the storyline remains unclear.

I do like the idea of the story except that Akane may cause potentially huge irritation level. She irks me for some reason. If the second episode holds up my interest, I may keep on watching but it’s highly unlikely for me to post another entry for the title.
