Naruto: Episode 106

Just when we’re comfortable with non-angsty Sasuke, we get a glimpse of the psychopathic green monster. Then again, the lame filler ends. So hurray for the viewers… Why do I feel it’s a lose-lose situation for me?

Since I am already disheartened with last week’s mediocrity, I really don’t care what happened in this episode. Sasuke got injured while Naruto beat (the seriously suck-y) jounnin. Idate won the race, had a change of heart, blah, blah, blah. I can honestly say, I gave the mini-arc a chance yet the lameness of the villain irks me to no end. Frankly, I’m just glad it’s over.

While I highly anticipate the inevitable breaking point between Sasuke and Naruto, I’m starting to lose interest on the title primarily because of the direction it’s heading.
