Fantastic Children: Episode 03

I say, lock up those abusive SOBs. While I concede that Chitto and Helga’s actions were irresponsible and selfish, I detest the treatment they received from the orphanage. The director refuses to understand the motivations behind Helga’s compulsive behavior and only thinks of the possible damage on his reputation. He makes Miss Minchin seem a loving headmistress. /end rant
Although the series seems to trudge along slowly, the key players’ paths start to intersect. Pieces of the befuddling puzzle is slowly piling up. A detective questions a grieving mother on her missing son. Thoma and Chitto make an unlikely friendship in order to free the encaged Helga. Without knowing their destination, the Befort children unknowingly comes close to their goal. A speeding boat collides with another vehicle causing an influx of suspicious hi-tech individuals searching around the island. It’s a matter of time before we can see the whole picture.
BTW, Thoma’s interest on Helga might be in connection with the Befort children but I am inclined to believe that he’s really experiencing puberty issues. Yes, I think he is smitten by the quiet girl. Also, I’m still waiting on the mecha action suggested at the opening sequence. Honestly, I’m not sure on how to take the integration of mecha into the storyline.
