Fantastic Children: Episode 04

Great. Just what this audience member needs, more baffling puzzles thrown in our midst. Oh well, at least I love to speculate. ^_^

After a number of attempts, Chitto and Helga finally succeeds in running away from the orphanage with the help of Thoma. Ironically, their breakout is partially aided by a suspicious-looking government organization searching for another set of escapees. In addition to the director’s decision, it seems that Helga and Chitto are safe for the time being.

As if we aren’t already confounded by the complexity of the interwoven plots, the set of escapees reveals another hint of abnormality. The old woman, one of the so-called prisoners, admits a shocking revelation. Despite her appearance, she only have lived for only twenty four years. Her connection to Helga is apparent yet vague on the actual details. Who is the young girl called Lara whom haunts her? Why does Helga capable of seeing her? How does the Befort children fit in? Ugh, why do I keep asking these questions?
