One Piece: Episode 119

Arguably, Zoro is the coolest individual in the series. Aside from Oda-sensei’s knack for creating such a character, his seiyuu brings out the other hidden facets within him. And boy, you gotta love Zoro and his fights. Now, I’m curious on how FOX will censor this type of battles. *grins*
Remember the Lost Island arc? Hehe, I am probably one of the minority who liked that filler arc but that’s besides the point. I think I’ve mentioned this before and a lot of people might have noticed the inconsistency. During one of the fights in an enemy ship, Zoro manages to cleanly slice through steel. Yeah, the animators lack the foresight of the upcoming dilemma. Ah, well. They probably underestimated the retentiveness of their audiences.
Enough of the minor mishaps and on to the main event. While we already know the outcome of the match, it’s always fun to watch any of his fights. Why? Just because. Among the Straw Hat crew, he is the designated person ending soaked up in ridiculous amount of his own blood. Yay for blood and gore. My inner aggression is showing.
Zoro manages to transcend his limitation battling Mr. 1. On the brink of death, he comes to a eureka moment. He recalls his sensei’s long forgotten words and fully realizes the meaning. A level up in Zoro’s skill is an unfortunate event for his opponent. So, now we have the last of the agents sans Miss All-Sunday defeated.
BTW, I almost died laughing at the name of one of Mr. 1’s attacks. Can someone tell me why he has chosen such a pwetty little name? And what’s up with kamehame wave maneuver? XD
