Random Musings: Korean Music

Instead of focusing on my research, I’ve been concentrating (and I mean seriously concentrating) on learning Lyn’s …사랑했잖아… Although I’ve been listening Kpop for some time now, I never really tried to sing along with it til now. And boy, it’s like a tongue-twister.

I resorted to reading on basic Korean lessons. To a certain extent, I could slowly read the Korean alphabet now (but not understand it, of course). Still, stringing the syllables together cause a great deal of difficulty. So far I’m getting the hang of it. But darnit, if I could only correctly pronounce these couple of lines 끝까지 이기적인거 이것도 이해해줄래 우~, I pretty much accomplish my goal. I tend to stutter when it comes to that particular part of the song.

I know, I’m being obsessive but I like challenges. Yeah, that’s my excuse. One downside of learning the lines is that I have to repeat the song over and over again. I’m afraid that I might hate this track by the time I get past through this.
