Fantastic Children: Episode 06

Yep, episode six marks the arrival of mecha in the series. Thankfully, the machine is designed to blend perfectly well with the old school style. Let’s just say, it’s definitely not a GONZO mech.

My strong disapproval to Helga on the previous installment diminished in an instant. Faced with a terrifying situation, she chooses to defy danger and help her precious friend. Her courageous action proves to this audience member Helga is not without spirit.

After the minor ordeal with the bees, Helga somehow changes her attitude toward Thoma. Fortunately for Thoma, his attempt (albeit failed) to rescue Chitto might have a positive effect on this quiet lass.

Judging by the writing on the show, Thoma’s fascination with Helga is more than a simple schoolboy crush. Meeting Chitto on the streets and catching his first glimpse of Helga in his island are not mere coincidences, especially now that he made a direct confrontation with one of the Befort children.
