Fantastic Children: Episode 07

A photograph, a black fragment, and an intriguing history of the five white-haired children set off a brilliant scientist to a path of obsessive research. First, he seeks out answers from the indecipherable patterns embedded from the strange mineral. When he realizes the futility of his efforts, another lead emerges. Through old newspaper clippings and his long travels, he traces the reincarnation-like birth of the Befort children. However, the findings did little to give conclusive answers.
Along with the Cook’s revelation, audiences are also teased with a glimpse of one of the children’s past. To counter Hasumodai’s losing battle to confusion, he is shown a quiet scenery from his hometown. While it’s similar to earth, it seems different somehow. This little piece of memory is instrumental to help him remember his past.
Whew. Intense, much. My head’s reeling with too many speculations but I currently cannot utter a single coherent thought. I might manage to establish an acceptable theory regarding other possibilities later but for now, sleep beckons.
