Beck: Episode 12

Except for minor mishaps, I’d say episode twelve has been quite a ride.
Koyuki&co attends Dying Breed’s not-so-secret concert. In the middle of the show, they are surprised to see Eiji, Ryuuske’s former bandmate, on stage. Eiji is supposed to make his big debut with the world famous band. However, his performance during rehearsal seriously underwhelmed Matt and consequently lit up his guitar. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Poor guy. Of course, one man’s misery could be another man’s gain. Having heard Koyuki’s, um, singing prowess, Matt asked him on stage to sing with the group. Yep, this experience had him under a euphoric state for days.
Meanwhile on the romantic front, Maho’s ambiguity led Koyuki in a somewhat jealous streak. And to complicate the situation, he bumps into an old friend and meets her at the same place where he and Maho went skinny dipping. Unfortunately, Maho shows up and sees them together. Hah, from a zero love-life to a sort-of-torn-between-two-lovers scenario. Not bad, Koyuki. Not bad at all.
