Jinki Extend 01

Another mecha anime has caught my attention. It’s neither impressive nor intricate yet the introductory episode hints of an intriguing arc the thirteen-episode series. It seems that humor will be infused with the inevitable action and fanservice. The lack of pretentiousness is a breathe of fresh air since the genre has the habit of undertaking ambitious epic sagas which rarely succeeds. Although I am bracing myself for cliche storylines, the pilot leaves me with an optimistic attitude.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, it seems that Angela is responsible for the ED theme. Maybe I’m a little bias, but I do enjoy listening to the track.
